Ouch. You had to start with a hard one! I think it is Olivia de Havilland. Constance Bennett would have been 31 in 1935 (a little too old) and Joan Fontaine was still nearly unknown. This is great–give us more mystery stars, Matthew!
Yes, it was a hard one. But I wanted to test your parameters, Dan! Besides, I wasn’t about to put up an obvious picture because where’s the fun in that? If it’s any consolation I thought it was Bette and my second guess would’ve been Olivia. But it’s Marian Marsh. Next one maybe not so difficult. Everyone welcome to join in guessing.
