  1. This poster and the one for Footlight Parade are so incredible–full of color and life. Unfortunately Warners must have gotten a new poster artist because the posters for most of their classics–The Maltese Falcon, Casablanca, Bogie and Bacall movies, Bette Davis movies–are really drab and duocolor.

    • I’ve noticed that too – the earlier films had great posters, real art. Later on they were more simple and commercial.
