    • I remember reading a few of them when I was a child and they were pretty good, slightly bizarre in a fantastastical sense. But Judy Garland never sang in them, so that sucked.

  1. The funniest interview ever is Margaret Hamilton talking about when they asked her to be in “The Wizard of Oz.” She said “Oh, how wonderful! I read all the books as a child!” And casting said “We are sure you will be wonderful as the witch.” And faboo Margaret looks at them aghast and says “The WITCH???!!”

    • Well, she did a fine job as the wicked witch and 70+ years later everyone still remembers her. She was actually a very pleasant and sweet lady and had a summer home in Maine.
