Lately, I’m addicted to classic Westerns like Cheyenne, Gunsmoke, The Virginian, and The Lone Ranger, and I have to laugh at the costumes the actors wear. Almost no resemblance to what clwboys actually wore, and the women look like modern day beauty queens, with dramatic hairstyles that took a stylist hours to create. Example; Miss Kitty with her make-up, expensive silk gowns, and that super styled red hair.
I’m actually not a big fan of westerns. But I could watch “Red River” and swoon over Montgomery Clift as a cowboy for days on end. And any profession that requires ass-less chaps I’m all in favour of!
