To be honest, I’m not fond of horses. It’s the smell that gets me. Plus… One of the two times I’ve been on one (a pony, in a park in Paris, and I was a young child) – it didn’t work out well. And the other time was actually on a donkey or a mule going down into the Grand Canyon and hated, hated that.

Turned out to be quite the storm last night on the island I live on. Winds over 90kmh/55 mph and definitely higher guts. The whole island lost internet & land line phones, my satellite TV dish got blown off, and I only had one bar of reception on the cell phone so could text but not use internet or call on it. So weird to be totally cut off from the world, I no like! Fortunately it doesn’t happen often and the power (and heat) stayed on.
