  1. Oh the amount of Monday mornings I walked this bridge after getting off the train while I was in senior class at Saumur’s residential’s school. But it was some decades after this photograph was take, obviously… :- )
    A few years later I happened to work in Saumur as an art framer. Lovely town, quaint if it were not for the uptight mentality of its people, as I recall. (though I keep a fine souvenir of a very ‘hot’ moment with a boyfriend in the ruins of the castle’s buttress…)
